Sun and moon sights on way to Espalmador

Nick’s short attention span means there’s never a dull moment ... Just when you think all is calm and quiet he’s disappeared below and is pulling things out of cupboards to find ... the sextant! Of course :) It’s time to take sights!

Thankfully we also have GPS as a ‘backup’ ...

Escapism in Espalmador

Ah, back in beautiful Espalmador! BBQs, hammock and stunning turquoise waters! What more could you ask for?

Well, a visit from Spanish customs of course! And a friendly seagull that adopted our radome as it’s home and despite Wally’s attempt he could not be dislodged!

A jovial Jubilee!

Whilst Britain was celebrating in the rain, HMS Ootnic donned the appropriate attire for such an occasion (a big thank you to mummy Stackpool for the signal flags!), minus the rain, and lit the BBQ in honour of Liz!

Fabulous Formentera!

A casual swim across the causeway and the Ootnics were exploring the sands of Formentera ... With a new island comes new adventures and this one certainly didn’t disappoint :)

Ibiza...

Although it seemed like we could spend forever in Espalmador, eventually adventure called and we decided to get underway again. The next port of call, Ibiza. We spent some lovely time there last year and were looking forward to seeing more of what the island had to offer.

While we were there we revisited a few favourites, discovered some new and made some lovely friends along the way. After a night or two as neighbours in Cala Llonga, Sue and Barry of Onwards became fast friends and we very much enjoyed bumping into them again all over the island :)
